As a non-profit 501(c)3 volunteer organization, we rely on donations and charitable contributions to further our cause. Our members do not receive compensation for their time or services, therefore all funds go to the care and welfare of the dogs.
95% of the funds we raise go to pay for veterinarian care for the dogs in our program, while the rest pays for boarding, insurance and dog supplies.

Hanna Banana


We got the call on our little Hanna Banana after she was scheduled to be put down at the shelter because of a bad hip. Several of the volunteers donated personal money to help cover some of her medical expenses. Hanna underwent hip surgery where it was believed that she may always walk with a limp and need therapy...however our sweet Hanna proved us wrong! She is now living in a VERY active home with 3 young kids where she runs and plays limp free! Hanna got a second chance and has a wonderful family thanks to our generous sponsors!

Cans for Canines
 
CANS FOR CANINES
We recycle aluminum cans and like items to purchase toys and treats for the dogs at the boarding kennel. You can help by having your household, place of business or school collect cans for us. When you have enough to fill a garbage bag, call us to schedule a drop off.

We also collect Coke codes. Any codes you have from 12, 24 packs or 2 liters of any Coke product we would be happy to use. Just send an email with the code to donations@caninecollective.org

 
Make a Difference
 
Please spay or neuter your pets to prevent unwanted litters. Millions of dogs die in shelters each year because there aren’t enough good homes for them.

Please don’t buy your pet from a pet store. Pet stores use puppy brokers that buy from auctions and puppy mills. These dogs are breed purely for profit and their care and health are forfeited for the bottom line.

Keep your dog on heartworm preventative and current on vaccinations. Parvo and heartworms are easily prevented illnesses that can kill a dog and are expensive to treat.

Adopt your next pet from a shelter or rescue organization. The love you’ll receive from a dog who knows how bad life can be, cannot be matched.
The feeling you get knowing you saved a life; Priceless.
 
The Canine Collective is based in Central Ohio and serves Franklin, Delaware, Licking, Fairfield, Pickaway, Madison and Union Counties.
We are a 501c3 non profit organization whose mission it is to provide sanctuary and re-home various breeds of dogs rescued from rural shelters and referrals.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on shots, and temperment tested.
